TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOARDING

• All pets are to be 6 months or over and be fully vaccinated. Current vaccination certificate
  from your vet must be shown upon admission.
• All pets are to be desexed.
• Pawtails Rural Retreat (Pawtails) reserves the right to refuse entry of any pet
• A non-refundable boarding fee as set by Pawtails, may be payable by credit card at
  the time of booking for each pet. Accounts for pet/s being delivered home or to an
  Agency will be processed by credit card on departure. Long-term boarders will have
  monthly payments processed on the credit card.
• The full period booked will be charged for school and public holiday periods.
• NOTE – Boarding rates are charged on a calendar day basis.
• The owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding in effect on the date the pet is checked into
  Pawtails (as advised in the price list).
• The owner agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services requested and all
  veterinary costs for the pet/s during the tine the pet/s is in Pawtails’ care.
• Payment methods are Mastercard/Visa Card/EFTPOS/Direct Deposit/Cash/Cheque.
• The owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behaviour of the pet while
  it is in Pawtails’ care.
• The owner specifically represents that he or she is the sole owner of the pet, free and clear
  of all liens and encumbrances.
• All charges incurred by the owner must be paid before the pet leaves Pawtails.
• If not all charges are paid, Pawtails has the right to take action through the State Claims
  Court. If such action fails to secure full reimbursement the owner is liable to Pawtails for the
  difference. Pawtails may take this course of action if not advised of a pick up date within two
  (2) weeks of the advised dates.
• If veterinary attention is necessary for the pet/s the owner is liable for all such expenses. A
  transport fee of $22 applies to each visit to the vet and further any veterinary accounts
  incurred on behalf of my pet/s whilst in the care of Pawtails Rural Retreat, A & C Cavanagh
  or their authorised representatives/agents may be charged to my credit/debit account as per
  details provided hereunder.
• Under no circumstances will Pawtails, or its employees, representatives or agents, be held
  responsible for Paralysis Tick, Canine Influenza, injury, death, loss or damage of any kind
  whatsoever that may occur to any animal staying at Pawtails.
• By signing these conditions, the owner certifies as to the accuracy of all information given
  about the pet/s. The owner acknowledges that the signing of this contract shall create a lien
  over the animal in favour of Pawtails, which lien shall continue to exist whilst ever monies
  are owing pursuant to contract.
